about our pigs
In early 2020, we began a new venture in pig farming using an Inoculated Deep Litter System. Our pigs have been selectively bred on-island for over 100 years thanks to Kaneshiro Farms and the Kaneshiro family. We are lucky enough to get to continue on the legacy of raising the best pork on island.
Interested in raising pigs? We have a program for off-site pen systems to encourage additional agricultural participation on island. Our 4-pig complete pen system costs about $10K to install and can generate additional income. Grants may be available to help defray installation costs. Looking for a pig for your ohana event?:
Our pigs are sold live on the hoof at our farm in Kilauea. If you’re interested in purchasing a pig, please fill out the contact form below to arrange a pick up time. We offer basic primal processing for an additional fee. If you do not have a hog trailer and want a live pig we may be able to offer delivery for an additional fee.
